Overview

ADHD is more than just distracted behavior or poor attention—it’s a brain-based condition with underlying biological imbalances that impact brain function and overall well-being. Traditional ADHD treatments often focus on children and overlook the fact that over 75% of children with ADHD continue to experience symptoms into adulthood. In the U.S. alone, more than 8 million adults live with ADHD, with nearly half of those cases classified as severe. Left untreated, adult ADHD can lead to struggles at work, difficulties in relationships, and chronic emotional challenges.

Dr. James Greenblatt will present a groundbreaking approach to adult ADHD treatment that focuses on correcting nutritional and biochemical imbalances unique to each individual. His integrated biopsychiatric model uses targeted interventions—such as addressing deficiencies in essential fatty acids and incorporating polyphenols (Oligomeric Proanthocyanidins or OPCs)—to improve brain function, mood, and attention.

This session will empower attendees with evidence-based strategies and practical tools to personalize ADHD treatment plans, offering hope for long-term success by addressing the root causes of ADHD symptoms. Join us to learn how you can redefine your approach to treating adult ADHD and make a meaningful difference in your patients ‘lives.

Learning Objectives

  1. Name two or more potential long-term psychological and/or psychosocial consequences of untreated ADHD.
  2. Identify what percentage of children with ADHD continue to experience symptoms into adulthood.
  3. Identify three or more plants/plant compounds containing Oligomeric Proanthocyanidins (OPCs).
