Overview

A breakthrough approach to addiction recovery—rooted in science, refined by decades of clinical success.

Addiction treatment often focuses on symptom management—yet relapse rates remain unacceptably high. For over 30 years, psychiatrist and functional medicine pioneer James Greenblatt, MD has integrated low-dose lithium into his addiction protocols with remarkable results.

Now, with renewed global attention on lithium’s therapeutic potential—sparked by the latest Nature coverage on lithium and brain health—Dr. Greenblatt invites clinicians to explore how this essential mineral can transform addiction treatment outcomes. In this one-of-a-kind webinar, you’ll learn how to strategically use both lithium orotate and lithium carbonate as adjuncts to standard care, improve patient stability, reduce cravings, and support long-term recovery—without relying solely on high-dose pharmacotherapy.

What You’ll Learn

By the end of this webinar, you will be able to:

  • Understand the science: Review the clinical research supporting low-dose lithium’s role in addiction treatment.
  • Differentiate formulations: Compare lithium orotate and lithium carbonate, including safety, dosing, and indications.
  • Integrate into practice: Apply practical, evidence-based strategies for adding low-dose lithium to your current treatment model.
  • Address common concerns: Navigate misconceptions about lithium while ensuring patient safety.
