Why Integrative & Functional Medicine?

The root causes of mental illness are unique to each client, encompassing genetic, biochemical, nutritional, hormonal, and environmental factors. Functional and integrative medicine target the underlying chemistry and root causes affecting brain and behavior to promote personalized healing and lasting recovery.

Traditional therapeutic approaches are invaluable, but integrating functional and lifestyle medicine can offer a more holistic treatment paradigm. This program emphasizes the importance of a whole-body approach, exploring lifestyle changes, nutritional optimization, and stress management. By addressing gut health, inflammation, micronutrient deficiencies, and lifestyle factors, clinicians can support clients in achieving sustainable solutions to wellness and overall health.
